Customer Service Rep I

Position Description:
Will handle all incoming customer service calls, and sales order administration. Provides support to field personnel for surgical cases, installations, and service calls.
Responsibilities Include:
- Point of contact for all customer related activities, includes all MAKO representation in the field.
- Enters sales orders (external customers, and MAKO sales, service & clinical field personnel) into the ERP system within 24 hours of receipt.
- Processes consignment sales orders for replenishment of implants and disposables into ERP.

- Ensures that appropriate and accurate input has been entered into ERP/CRM system such that proper documentation for inventory movement (pick lists & packing lists) is generated.
- Coordinates with purchasing, shipping, and stockroom to facilitate prompt shipment to customer.
- Processes incoming documentation/requests from field personnel (tickets, CT validations, etc.) and assigns to responsible individual/department.
- Assists material management department with site replenishment activities when required.
- Works closely with Finance, Planning and Logistics to ensure timely delivery and payment from customer.
- Participates in company training programs.
- Administrative support within the department as directed.
- Any other tasks or assignments assigned by the Department Manager.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of 2 years experience.
- Strong attention to detail required.
- Relies on sound judgment to make decisions.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills – consistently focused on customer (internal/external) satisfaction.
- Knowledge and experience in shipments of products, both domestic and international highly desired.
- Knowledgeable user of MS Word, Excel and Outlook, and ERP systems.
